VIDYA’s virtual FESTx from 23rd-26th February 2021. A series of workshops, seminars, and conversations especially for teachers, school officials, and community leaders to support new ideas of STEM learning and entrepreneurship.
students visited Samadhaan hub
Today students visited the Samadhaan hub. There Smita ma’am guided the students about waste segregation, accordingly, students threw the waste i.e. plastics, metals, glass, paper, and e-waste. Also the types of plastics and their uses that could be done only after proper segregation like soft plastic for road making, MLP & foils for stationery items, PET for making fiber and get converted into textile, rigid plastic for making tiles & building materials, etc. Students also received a lot of information about recycling waste and after that the beautiful creations with recycled items (paper, metals & e-waste). Students promised to get their homes + 10 more homes in their neighborhood to start segregation and recycling dry & e-waste.
