Note for Students

This portal module is fully integrated with your dashboard profile. Contact administration if permissions are restricted.

Tips

  • Students trying out for team sports should wear proper sports shoes and bring a water bottle to trial sessions.
  • Regular participation in yoga sessions is marked and contributes to your co-curricular grade.

Team Sports

VidyaSchool fields school teams in the following sports for inter-school competitions: • Cricket (Under-14 and Under-19 categories) • Football (Under-14 and Under-19 categories) • Kabaddi (Girls and Boys) • Basketball Trial sessions are held in the first month of the academic year. Selected students train 3 days per week during the designated sports period and may attend Saturday practice sessions.

Athletics Track Events

All students participate in annual athletics competitions held on Sports Day (January). Track events include 100m sprint, 200m, 400m, relay races, and long jump. Students are automatically entered based on their class; selection for inter-school athletics meets is based on Sports Day performance.

Yoga & Wellness

A structured 30-minute yoga and mindfulness session is integrated into the weekly schedule for all students. The programme covers asana practice, pranayama breathing techniques, and guided relaxation. Yoga assessment is included in the student's co-curricular report card. The wellness programme also includes periodic health check-ups conducted by the school health officer.

Sports Day

The annual Sports Day is held every January and is a major school event. All students participate in at least one track event. The day includes team sports finals, gymnastics demonstration, mass yoga performance, and the prestigious School Sports Trophy ceremony where top individual and team performers are recognised. Parents and guardians are invited to attend.
